ffmpeg / mencoder convirtiendo un video con la configuración correcta

Tengo un archivo de video avi que se reproduce en mi reproductor Onn-W7 Enlace al archivo de video avi que funciona y enlace de respaldo al archivo avi que funciona. Estoy tratando de convertir algunos otros archivos de video para que también se reproduzcan en él. Probé handbrake, ffmpeg y mencoder, pero el video no funciona, lo más probable es que tenga algunas configuraciones incorrectas en el proceso de conversión, pero no sé cuáles, alguna idea de cómo solucionarlo.

Parece que el jugador está usando la etiqueta del códec de video para examinar los archivos. Y es exigente con el caso. así que intenta
ffmpeg -i "video_to_convert.mp4" -c:v libxvid -vtag XVID -level 1
-vf scale=160x128,setsar=1 -b:v 800k -r 15
-c:a libtwolame -ac 2 -ar 44100 -b:a 128k -y video_converted.avi
(El nivel puede no ser necesario. Estaba probando algo).
